Just like what his name suggests, DJ Red Raven is a flamboyant and free-spirited man taking his steps where life may lead him. Maybe the same reason how he ended up with myBay Radio 104.7 fm almost 5 years ago. Although everyone on the radio would speak of the same language of not having the dream of becoming a DJ, everyone would say it’s all about their love and passion for music. And Red Raven is no exception.

DJ Red Raven, Mayerson Persingcula in person, is a graduate of Batangas State University where he finished his Computer Science course. Finishing college, he first tried his luck with call centers like Teletech and ACS before pushing his taste buds with Kenny Rogers – SM as Store Supervisor. This is when he got hooked with myBay Radio after hanging around with friends connected with the radio station.

His character of being easy to get along with can be reflected with music genre he’s playing. That includes RnB, Pop, love songs and country music. No wonder he’s into Shania Twain that much.

Oh, before i forgot. Red Raven loves to empty plates full of spaghetti and pizza. Not to mention his cravings for mango juice and McFloat.

His favorite quote? He always end his program by saying “it’s better to know and be disappointed than not to know and always wonder“. You think that’s all there is? Don’t get him mad. Or you’ll get a mouthful from him.

Currently, Red is taking the airwaves with his program 1:00-3;00pm (Monday to Friday) and 9:00am to 12:00nn (Saturdays).
